Welcome to Gujarat Statistical Association (GSA).

GSA, founded in 1969 by Prof C G Khatri, is the first organization of its kind in the state of Gujarat. The main objective of GSA is to organize conferences, seminars, webinars in different places in Gujarat to provide an opportunity to the academicians, government officers and industry experts to exchange their views and update themselves with the latest developments and trends in the field of pure and applied Statistics.

GSA has been regularly publishing its research journal “Sankhya Vignan” under the editorship of Prof B B Jani Sir. From this year, “Gujarat Statistical Review” is relaunched as “Gujarat Journal of Statistical and Data Sciences” under the editorship of Prof D K Ghosh. I am sure researchers will be benefited to a great extent by these two research journals.

I assure all the members that GSA will continue its legacy of organizing meaningful programs which will be useful not only to the Statistics fraternity but the society at large.

To increase the digital presence, GSA has come up with its own website. I thank Dr Parag Shah for taking up the responsibility of developing and updating the GSA website. All activities of GSA, journal issues and many more will be uploaded on the website.
